Traveling from Denver to Atlanta our minivan was having serious electrical charging system issues. We were basically stranded on the side of I-70 a few times before we limped to Salina. KansasLand absolutely saved our van and trip by going ABOVE and BEYOND service levels LATE on a Friday afternoon when we were beginning to think all hope was lost. The best customer experience I’ve had in decades!! I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

After an oil change and a question/ concern about needing a front end alignment, the dealership I was at sent a cashier out to tell me about their tire sale and that my tires needed replaced. When I asked about the front end, he told me that hadn't checked yet. I was pretty frustrated about my concern being overshadowed by a commission! So I declined tires and they performed the alignment check free of charge. I then went to Kansasland Tire and simply asked for a tire assessment. I went with him to measure and he explained everything he was looking at and told me they are within limits and that if it was his truck, he would not replace the tires yet. Everything he said made sense. He was honest!! I will definitely be buying my next set of tires from him! Why can't everyone have that kind of integrity? ❤️

The most honest mechanics I've met. I brought my 2013 4Runner since it was wobbling heavily on the highway. I was only in town for a few days and needed a shop to take a look at it. Every other shop would try to sell me on stuff I didn't need, but Joey and the folks are Kansasland took a look at my car and gave me sincere advice.I needed a tire rotation and balancing. I had plenty of tread left on my tires, and they didn't try to push hard for getting them replaced. It was a simple fix, and they did that at a very fair price.Can't recommend them enough. This is the only place I can get my truck serviced without removing the slide-in camper. Bill is always helpful and tries his best to satisfy our needs. They have upgraded their technicians whose work I have been pleased with.New(04/13/2024): I've had Kansasland replace two tires (originally purchased elsewhere) one at a time over the past several months. They were very cooperative about finding tires to match the other tires. Today I replaced the last two tires. I called at 7:30 A.M., and Joey said he would order two tires. They arrived by 3:00P.M., and I was on the road by 4:P.M. Awesome job, Joey!

Q: What brands of tires do you sell?

A: We carry Goodyear, Michelin, Bridgestone, BFGoodrich, and Cooper. If you need something specific we don’t stock, we can usually get it ordered within a day or two.

Q: How often do I really need to rotate my tires?

A: Every 5,000-7,000 miles is the sweet spot. It evens out wear and helps you get more miles out of the set. We’ll mark it on your receipt so you know when to come back.

Q: Can you handle semi trucks and farm equipment?

A: Absolutely. We stock commercial tires and have the equipment to mount them. Lots of local farms and trucking outfits come through here, we’re used to it.

Q: My car's pulling to one side. Is that an alignment issue?

A: Usually, yes. Could also be a tire pressure difference or a brake caliper sticking, but alignment is the most common culprit. Bring it in and we’ll diagnose it for free.

Q: Do you offer payment plans on tires?

A: We do. Goodyear Credit Card and Synchrony financing are both options. You can apply in the shop and usually get approval same-day.

Q: Can I schedule online or do I have to call?

A: Either works. You can book online through our site or just give us a call at (785) 827-5731. If it’s urgent, calling is faster, we’ll squeeze you in if we can.
