Transmission Repair
The transmission is a critical component that connects your vehicle’s engine to its wheels. It is essential in managing the vehicle’s performance and dependability, regardless of whether you’re driving a manual, automatic, or semi-automatic vehicle. The transmission’s role is to ensure the engine’s output is appropriately matched with the vehicle’s speed and the demands of the driving conditions. Since engines function at high rotational speeds, the transmission moderates this output and channels torque to the wheels via the differential and driveshaft. As the engine’s speed fluctuates, the transmission alters gears to adjust the torque applied to the wheels. Transmission fluid serves multiple purposes, such as cooling and lubricating the internal gears and safeguarding against corrosion and rust. In manual transmissions, the clutch and gear shifts manage engagement and disengagement, whereas in automatic transmissions, the transmission fluid fulfills these roles of exerting force and pressure.
